Every year, Halloween comes along and people just seem to have the urge to adorn their houses for the occasion. But what are you going to do if you have a smaller home like an apartment? Options for decorating are already limited enough and a small space can easily become cluttered when you try to add a handful of pieces of decoration. You’ll soon be hosting your own Halloween theme party after solving this dilemma with just a few smart and useful choices, even answering the door for trick-or-treaters.
Get your white ninja costumes and pirate costume for your party. Do not forget to} select adult french maid costumes, disco costumes for women.
It goes without saying you should not forget about the family holiday costumes you can still put on for the young children: bunny costumes and the santa suit.
You’ve made a good purchase if you get anything that serves dual or useful purposes. Start with Halloween dishes and bath towels as these take absolutely no extra space compared to the regular items they will be replacing. You may have difficulty getting a Halloween version of a dish depending on the store so if this is the case, just get something in black or orange that you can arrange on the table. Keep in mind that it is best to pair them with table dressing that matches. Orange dishware on a black table cloth can be a simple touch toward bringing the Halloween spirit to your small space. Dress your front windows with orange decorative lights similar to what you would put up during Christmas, only orange or and orange-yellow combination. More window dressing can be added by getting fake spider web which you could also hang in one or two corners of the room that you are redecorating. If your walls are not already painted in an orange hue, you could get Halloween-themed decals or wall stickers that can stick on your walls, or windows (decals only). In order for your guests to see them, place the decals facing inward particularly if you do not live on the ground level. If you are on the ground floor you can decide to have the decals facing outward instead since they would be easily visible to folks passing by. You can complete the final touch with a simple welcome rug. From any department store you can ideally get holloween themed carpets during the season, but if you have carpeting then a bath mat will probably have to do.
Remember that when decorating for a smaller space, things can quickly get cluttered so just try to stick with decorating one or two walls while just making sure that the others are in a similar hue to keep with the Halloween theme. Just replace what you are already using with Halloween themed items to avoid taking up too much space and stay away from larger items. Just try to infuse blacks and orange all through your space if you still prefer not to get things that are too “Halloween”.
