I have this product in my bathroom. It is the greatest thing I have ever installed. I remodeled my bathroom and put tile down over the top. It is so nice to walk in there in the winter and have a warm floor. It only raised my electric bill about $4.00 per month. I have a 5 X 12 bathroom. Great product.

By using the mat? system (Nuheat), the heating wires are protected by two layers of thinset, creating a heating membrane that is both protective of the heating element as well as serving to retain and radiate heat (with Nuheat mats the heating membrane stays warm and heats long after it is turned off). With Nuheat the end result is more even and efficient radiant heat.
